Airtran Airways
Aitran Airways, a subsidiary of Airtran Holdings, is a low-cost airline which is based at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Airtran also operates from its secondary hub, Orlando International Airport, which is also its headquarters. This low-fare airline consists of 138 aircrafts serving over more than 70 destinations all throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Caribbean nations.
Originally named as Valujet, Airlines operates around over 270 daily departures. Valujet Airlines was founded in 1992 and started its service with two former Delta Air Lines' DC-9 aircraft. Today, Airtran is said to operate the youngest Boeing fleets in the industry. It is also considered as the world's largest operator of Boeing 717-200.
