Mexicana Airlines
Mexicana or Mexicana de Aviación is the flag carrier of Mexico as it is the first established Mexican airline. It serves to around 50 destinations in North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean from its hub, Mexico City International Airport. It also serves from its secondary hubs which are hubs at Cancún International Airport, and Guadalajara's Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport. Operating for more than 87 years in the industry, Mexicana is North America's oldest airline and the world's third oldest airline functioning under the same name.
Mexicana is credited to have the most extensive international coverage as it has code share agreements with some of the leading international airlines. This enables its passengers with great benefits such as the accumulation and redemption of miles, accessibility to the executive lounges, a range of connected and coordinated schedules with an extensive route network covering a large portion of the world.
Having the most modern fleet in the world, Mexicana Airlines has also maintained a high level of performance. In 2005, Mexican introduced a low-cost airline, Click Mexicana serving to 26 domestic routes. Mexicana rebranded Click Mexicana as MexicanaClick in late-November 2008. Click serves primarily to the Yucatan Peninsula and northern Mexico and the only international destination Havana, Cuba. The other subsidiaries of Mexicana are MexicanaLink and MRO service.
Book a seat in the Elite Class or business class of the Mexicana which is available on all flights. The seats are reclining and comfortable.
