Westjet Airlines
WestJet Airlines is a Canadian low-cost carrier which is based in Calgary International Airport, Alberta. It flies to 66 destinations including 30 Canadian cities and rest in the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. The airline was founded in 1996, with the intention to serve the western region of Canada, for which it has been christened Westjet Airlines. With Toronto Pearson International Airport being the second hub, it connects the eastern Canada. It is the second largest carrier in Canada.
Westjet flies a fleet that consists exclusively of Boeing 737s. All the flights have in-flight entertainment and many other services. WestJet follows a buy on board meal service program wherein, the passengers have to make purchase on alcoholic beverages, and some snacks. On ground, Westjet has lounges in selected Canadian airports namely, Calgary International Airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport, Vancouver International Airport and Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport.
